My close neighbour is an Evri driver. This means I always get my parcels in good condition and properly delivered. That last post went over the Twitter character length, which is fine. The link that the Mastodon cross-poster added to the tweet links to the root on chaos.social which in itself links to the original post. Maybe I should do something whereby my "toot" script looks at the length of the message and strips the end off so that it doesn't go over 280 characters including the canonical link. Then again, I don't really care so much how this appears on Twitter... In case you haven't noticed from this message, I'm trying to go over the character limit of the Mastodon server I use (500 characters) so I can see how this gets handled.
